Women may be less likely to spearhead a new asset management business but they must be willing to take control of their own destiny.
So says Jane Andrews, chief investment officer and founder of Asia-focused investment boutique BambuBlack Asset Management.
Speaking on Selector’s Why Inclusion podcast, Andrews said she had opted to leave UK group Smith & Williamson in mid-2019 after 23 years. However, it took a lot of confidence to embrace her entrepreneurial side.
